The flag carrier of Czechoslovakia started to introduce a total of 12 IL-18s on routes across Europe, but also on long-distance flights to Havana, New York or Montreal. Our model is released in the livery variant in which it was delivered back in 1962. As the ǃ˙feathersǃ˘ of the stylized bird were positioned quite low below the windows, these were often nicknamed ǃ˙voucyǃ˘ ÇƒÏ Czech for beard.
